Victorian Table Casket. Embellished With Cavalry Officers Silver Pouch Belt Fittings
A magnificent ebony table casket decorated with various parts of a Cavalry Officers pouch. The lid mounted with a a silver flap and device of the 10th Hussars, the front and back with a Crowned VR flap. To each end silver furniture from a pouch belt and these are complimented overall with Battle Honours found on the belt of the 13th Hussars. The interior retains the original rich blue silk lining (one small area of damage) and is fitted with two 4 lever locks (key present works both locks). Overall GC. Height 8 inches. Width 12 inches.
