AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY 7 DRAWER LEATHER TOPPED DESK, the top serpentine in shape with inset tooled leather raised on a pair of pedestals that rest upon short cabriole shaped legs. The drawers decorated with fluted & carved detail of floral form, three drawers to each pedestal & a single drawer between. The short cabriole legs with scrolling acanthus leaf knee & central carved detail to the scroll shaped skirt. Condition: very good; structure is excellent – the leather top does need some care as it is stained/worn but does not detract from the piece and could be used as is. Dimensions: 130 x 65 x 75cm (W x D x H).
