A Birmingham Proofed Boxlock Percussion Cap Pistol. With round turn-off barrel 70mm in length, bore approx. 10mm. Struck at the breech with Birmingham proof marks, box-lock working action, with slab form butt, steel trigger guard. Overall length 170mm. NOTE: Section 58 (2) No licence required in the UK.
Two screws missing from top plate. Action will hold at half cock only. Unrestored condition.
