Three original and wonderfully personalised charcoal portraits of the directors of the Vaci Institute of the Deaf in Hungary, including Nagy Lipot (b.1773 - d.1861), Zsigmondovits Mihaly (b.1805 - d.1877) and Schwarzer Antal (b.1780 - d.1834). All well rendered with great character in each individual. Housed in matching gilt frames. Dating to the early 20th century.
