Angus McNeill. Signed pencil sketches depicting "Lt. Gen. Pole Carew and the Portuguese Staff", 228x182mm; or "Montmorencys Scouts", 328x202mm (dated Jan 1900), both with detailed notes on the reverse describing the scenes shown. McNeill submitted pictures to various magazines during the Sudanese and South African Wars, and illustrated Winston Churchill's book "The River War".
