A pair of 18th century Derby figures of a shepherd and shepherdess, with pipe and lute, hand painted detail and raised on pierced rococo style bases

More Information

Chips and loss to both ears of dog, chip to ear of sheep. Large area of restoration to male figure at the hip, coat and to his seat. Restoration to fingers on left hand, bagpipe, neck and loss to hat plume.
Cracks and imperfections to shell decoration on the base, fault to dog's left side.
Loss to plume of lady's hat, restoration to ladies dress and large areas of restoration to left and right side of here seat.
Chips to front section of base.
