A rare Third Reich honour award silver plated shallow dish, the centre embossed with eagle and swastika superimposed on crossed batons above scroll impressed "In Anerkennung Hervorragender Kampfleistungen" and with 2 part scroll above engraved "Hauptmann Gerhard Schacht, Am 3.8.42", the wide rim embossed with oak leaves and laurel branches, the reverse stamped "Feinsilber/Alpaka/ Auflage" and "Joh. Wagner & Sohn". GC (tarnished). £1000-1100
