A carved jadeite pendant necklace, with auspicious Chinese art motifs, comprising a pear-shaped jade plaque depicting a bat, a Chinese coin and flowers, suspending from an oval jade piece, carved with a butterfly on lotus flower, attaching to navette-shaped links and filigree flowerheads, completing with a spring-ring clasp marked '14K', drop length 7.0 cm, overall 39.5 cm long, total weight of item 12.2 grams. Oval jade piece: 3.2 x 2.2 cm; Butterfly over lotus flower, symbolising purity, prosperity and longevity. Pear-shaped jade piece: 3.4 x 2.2 cm; Bat, coin and flower, symbolising happiness and longevity prosperity and wealth.
