A Chinese two colour agate carving of a ram and a cat, 19th century, the carver skilfully using the dark brown inclusion in the stone for the ram and flowerhead and the pale grey inclusion for the cat, 4cm, wood stand
Provenance - the former owner collected jades and snuff bottles in the 1960s and early 1970s while living and working in Hong Kong.
A few tiny chips to the end of the ram?s horns the edge of the flower and to the tail of the ram. Otherwise in good condition
