Pair of French M1866 Chassepot Bayonets, one complete, the other without scabbard. Example with scabbard has fullered single edged blade 575mm in length, dated on spine of blade 1872. Brass grips with working release catch. Overall length 695mm. Complete with scabbard, non matching numbers. Loop for frog missing from the scabbard. Exmple without scabbard has single edged fullered blade dated 1874. (2)
