A PAIR OF CHINESE PORCELAIN RICE GRAIN BOWLS, KANGXI MARK, LATE QING DYNASTY. Each bowl decorated in underglaze blue and polychrome enamels with a band of 'rice grain pattern outlined to the exterior with floral scrolls. Lotus leaf lappets around the base detailed in gilt and a crane in lotus pond and bats to the interior. Six-character marks of Kangxi, both on circular stands similarly decorated with Shou characters and Buddhist emblems; Together with a separate pair of teacup covers each with six-character mark of Kangxi. Bowls approx. 12.5cm diam. (6)

Minute chip to one bowl. Otherwise bowls and stands in good overall condition with no further cracks, chips or signs of repairs. One cover with 1cm hairline to rim both with minor fritting to rims.
