A 19th century diamond and coral pendant/brooch, the flowerhead designed brooch with twelve petals surrounding a rose cut diamond centre, closed to the reverse with hinge pin, 3cm wide, 7gms
Please note, we have not tested the metal to the reverse of the pendant.
Three coral petals in particular show pitting and blemishes, other petals show minor surface scuffs/blemishes.
Minor chips and areas of loss seen to some petals.
Diamonds all present.
Reverse of pendant shows surface scratches and scuffs throughout.
Hinge pin is associated and shows major evidence of solder re-pair. Appears to have play to the pin.
Jump ring to reverse where safety chain may have hung from.
Unmarked.
Spherical terminals show pitting and blemishes.
General surface scratches and scuffs seen throughout, commensurate with age and wear.
