DRIED FLOWER ALBUM: album of dried flower arrangements collected from around Europe 1866. 52pp of dried flower arrangements, each neatly annotated with site of collection and occasional historical or geographical note, together with date of its sourcing: full contemporary vellum, ornately gilt with leather onlays, initialled gilt 'LCT' central to upper board, oblong folio.
The thus unidentified LCT collected these specimens between March and November 1866 on a tour of Europe, taking in Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany, Scandinavia and back again. (1)
