DUKE AND DUCHESS OF WINDSOR INTEREST, a belt, a wide velvet ribbon and a colourful silk sash, the belts in woven links of gold and silver thread with tassel ends, length excluding ties 65cm, bears inventory tag 'W/A/W/798', the yellow and orange sash bears inventory tag 'W/A/W/766' and the brown velvet ribbon length 96.5cm, bears inventory tag 'W/A/W/74', these three items formed part of lot 2216 in Sotheby's The Duke & Duchess of Windsor auction, September 11-19 1997 (3) (Condition report: the gold and silver belt has patches where the base thread is showing through, the other two seem in good condition, all three pieces come with the Sotheby's lot labels and a photocopy of the lot description)
