Obverse: left-facing bust with a scalloped lace collar, 'XII' behind, lion mintmark and '· CAROLVS · D: G · MAG · BRIT · FRAN · ET · HIB · REX ·'. Reverse: crowned and garnished oval shield of royal arms crowned with lion skin garniture, 'EBOR' on a scroll below, lion mintmark to the left of the crown and 'CHRISTO · AVSPICE · REGNO ·' around. Weight: 5.40g. Diameter: 31mm. Grade: gF - lovely round flan with stress crack and tiny hole under the chin, dark tone, good Fine.
