Fees

A 19th century Grand Tour vari-colour lava cameo bracelet - the six oval cameos depicting classical male and female figures, in yellow gold collet settings (test as 14/15ct), with tongue clasp, 16.5 cm long, some faults to gold mounts.

More Information

* Condition: The two left hand cameos (brick red and buff coloured) have a very old, small chip to the lower edge of the neck of the bust - they are smoothed not sharp edged. No other faults to cameos. The clasp does function correctly, but the solder is split to one side of the central tongue on the clasp. The clasp is a later replacement to the original. Safety chain detached at one end. There is a split to the lower edge of the gold mount and a small soldered repair to the link loop to the ochre cameo to the right hand end of the bracelet, and another repair to one of the loops between the grey and back cameos. The gold mounts have some dings and small creases and a few small chips to the gold rubover on the black cameo. There are also two further splits to the gold to the lower edge on the black and grey cameos.
