A beautiful mid-nineteenth century black marble, eight day mantle clock with original key. Designed in a Neo-Classical style with an enamel face and relief detail reminiscent of the Parthenon. Created by clock-maker Samuel Marti in 1860. The clock movement is stamped with the ''Medaille de Bronze - S. Marti et Cie'' Really nice example. .
