An Antique Georgian 9ct rose gold hairwork mourning ring, circa 1790, the elongated octagonal panel with woven hair, having applied gold initials JC beneath convex glass, with closed-back settings bearing dedication "John Cooper Obit February 22nd 1791 Aged 37", unmarked mount tests as 9ct, setting height 24.8mm, size S, 5.7g
No damage or repair, only light wear to high points, 1 very minor dent on underside of bridge, unmarked but tests as 9ct
