An important suite of four Donegal handmade Wool Carpets, after a design by Pamela O'Connor, Dublin, on behalf of the Gaisford - St. Lawrence Family of Howth Castle, commissioned for the Drawing Room, each of the three large carpets with round circular medallion in polychrome with central rose within four circular borders, the outer leaf pattern border with ribbon bows and each corner with crossed sword and rose crest, on fawn ground, approx. overall 38'4" long x 13'6" wide (1170cms x 410cms); another smaller ditto approx. 6'11" wide x 9'4" long  (210cms x 286cms).
