A 19TH CENTURY SINGLE BARREL GERMAN SHOTGUN.
With a 78.5cm barrel tapering from circular to octagonal with ringed decoration,ram rod below, the percussion cap firing mechanism with hammer in the shape of a seated lion or dog, with decorative scrolling trigger guard and cross-hatched and moulded stock, indistinctly marked to the underside with suggested date of 1865. 119cm overall.
