A pair of Meissen reticulated named view plates, 19th century, painted to the centre with named views of ‘Ruine Frauenstein’ and ‘Bielaergrund’ landscapes, after engravings published in Meyer's Universum, 1837, within gilt bordered reserves on a blue ground, the pierced borders with flower spray panels, underglaze blue crossed swords mark, inscribed in black with the titles, 23.7cm diameter

Occasional tiny glaze scratches, basically in excellent condition with good gilding, no chips, cracks or restoration detected.
