Rare Colombo Golf Club Ceylon (Est.1879) 'Quarterly Silver Medal' - engraved on the reverse 'Far & Sure- won by - H Goodwin 99-18=81' - overall dia 1.25" (33mm) and comes in fitted makers case P Orr & Sons Madras. Note: The formation of Colombo GC established a firm foothold in Sri Lanka for the future expansion and development of the game. In 1928, His Majesty King George V bestowed upon the Club the privilege of using the prefix "Royal", and consequently the Colombo Golf Club came to be known as the Royal Colombo Golf Club.
