UK Cinderellas; c.1919 Scottish National War Memorial. An impressive stock of these labels, which were sold at 1d per label, or 1/- per sheet, towards the cost of building the memorial museum at Edinburgh Castle.
The lot comprises Sheet 2 - The Navy (c.172 sheets not stuck, c.70 sheets with greater or lesser adhesion), Sheet 3 - RAF and Other Troops (c.117 without sticking, c.122 with), and Sheet 3 - The Women's Services (c.32 with lesser sticking, c.122 sticking, c.18 without gum). (NB none of Sheet 1, which is seldom found.)
Also some loose odds, or bits of sheets, or with worse damage. Also one shop display card.
