No 605 Sqn RAF Collection. Framed colour print of Winston Churchill seated with cigar by Arthur Pan (1943), with printed quote (5 Dec 1942) to reverse "We are all of us defending a cause .... The cause of freedom and of justice; of the weak against the strong; Law against violence; Mercy and tolerance against Brutality and iron bound tyranny." This printed quoted has been signed by Churchill, reputedly on a visit to 605 Sqn. The framer's label to the reverse is Fisk & Moore, Canterbury. 605 Sqn were based at RAF Manston in Kent for most of 1944, so most likely signed in this period. BUYER MUST COLLECT. (See photo) (B)
