VAN INGEN MYSORE, AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY TAXIDERMY TIGER SKIN RUG.
Bearing factory serial no. 21534. Copy of original Van Ingen Mysore order present. The entry was for a snarling tiger skin and skull that entered the factory on 15 March 1935, customer CT Irwin Esq, job left factory 12 December 1935. C.T. Irwin was a tea planter at the Bharnobari T E. The current owner's friend visited the tea plantation in 1952 with his parents, who knew Mr Irwin as a friend.
