Three large late 19th century evening fans, all mounted on pierced or carved wood, the first with a leaf of black machine lace embroidered with gunmetal coloured sequins, forming a dramatic border with a stylised flower basket in the centre; the second fan leaf, of royal blue silk satin, trimmed with an upper border of Bedfordshire Maltese handmade lace; and the final fan leaf is of black gauze, painted with dragonflies and other insects feasting on blossoms, signed in pink to the bottom right (3)
The first and last fan are in very good, used condition, the black cotton on the verso of the satin fan has slight wear, and a crude repair to one guard.
