A 1804 Pattern style naval cutlass, in the style of Thomas Gill, straight, unfullered 74cm single edged blade marked above the hilt with the Royal crown and GR cipher, the spine stamped I. Gill, steel figure-of-eight hilt, one-piece ribbed and grooved steel grip.
