Railway. BR Steam, Post grouping and Infrastructure. A collection of approx. 47 x medium format, mixed quality, black and white negatives. The negatives date from the late 1920's onwards and appear to be from several sources. The majority of the locos are pre-grouping types across most regions, some taken at Darlington in 1931 and Scotland (no locations) in 1928. The infrastructure photos are of note, most are from the Leicester area, taken in the 1960's and include photos of West Bridge Station (Midland Railway) prior to demolition. The negatives are mostly captioned with location and date. Locations include: Leicester Beal Street shed, Paignton, Swindon Works, Bristol T.M., Darlington, Ashcurch, Newton Abbot, Grantham etc. Copyright will pass to the buyer. Sample illustrated.
