A 1827 Pattern Pipeback Naval Officer's Sword..................A British George IV/William IV-Period 1827 Pattern Naval Officer's Sword C.1827-1832. The sword knot loop on the ferrule indicates an earlier version, not post 1831 Pattern. With; broad pipe-back blade and large yelman of the Prosser-style, blade etched with florals & anchors and wire-bound shagreen grip. Complete with original naval officer's sword knot and leather & brass scabbard. Blade length 79cm.
