An unusual and heavy hallmarked silver triple sovereign and cheroot holder: rectangular form with a half-sovereign and two sovereign compartments; spring-loaded lid with gilded underside as a cheroot-holder; pull-out silver pencil with spherical finial fitted close to the hinge. Maker's mark of Deakin & Francis, assayed Birmingham 1895. (8.5 cm including moveable suspension loop) (Approx. 98.5 g)

Very good order; pencil removes and works; all three springs active; cheroot belt loose/slack; closes/clips well; small minor dent on underside.
