An '18th century' black lacquer japanned collector's cabinet on stand, the chinoiserie interior fitted with many small drawers enclosed by a pair of doors with raised pseudo-Oriental scenes, the relief scenes depict hunting, kite flying, temple scenes, emperors, offerings and nature which are picked out in gilt lacquer with decorative brass cabinet fittings throughout, on a stand with simple cross-grain moulding and square supports, 99cm wide x 120cm high x 49.5cm deep

Thank you for your enquiry, lot 1 has a loss to the front gilt border due to consisitent use especially to edge. Both front door, back & side panels have a central split of about 1mm wide from top to bottom where the piece was constructed from planked timber which is obvious. Small chip to the left hand side of the left door, some small losses to relief work, overall good condition, structally sound with all drawers intacvt
