A George III oak and mahogany cross banded dresser base, possibly converted from a Lancashire mule chest, the rectangular moulded plank top over an arrangement of seven cross banded drawers, each applied with shaped brass back plates and swan neck swing handles, flanked by reeded quarter pilasters, and raised upon ogee bracket feet, 92cm H x 155cm W x 55cm D
Three minor chips to veneer on drawer frames, both the lowest drawers have loose drawer liner/ boards which require attention, all other drawers run ok, back boards appear sound, overall chest has had some restoration/conversion but appears to be in solid condition with no major faults
