A rare Dinky Toys Aeroplane Set No.64. Comprising 6 aircraft- D.H. Comet Aeroplane (60g) in silver, 'G-R ACE'. Seaplane (63b) in silver, 'G-A DHJ'. Airspeed Envoy Aeroplane (62m) in silver, 'G-A CVI'. Hawker Hurricane Single-Seater Fighter (shadow shaded) (62h) in green and brown camouflage. The King's Aeroplane (62k) 'G-A EXX' in red, dark blue and silver. Plus another Hawker Hurricane Single Seater Fighter (aluminum finish) (62s). In their original display box with insert, some age wear/marking to lid. Lid dated '12/39. Contents VGC-Mint, all tied in with original string. Airspeed does have a small fatigue patch to one wing. (piece included). Light fatigue evident in just two. Also with the Set is its descriptive leaflet, dated 12/39. £500-750
