A LOUIS XV STYLE KINGWOOD AND BURR WALNUT JARDINIERE, early 20th century, of serpentine form with gilt metal mounts and detachable liner beneath a galleried top, 14 1/2" x 10" x 6" (Est. plus 24% premium inc. VAT)
Structure is sound with no losses. The walnut and kingwood surfaces have many signs of distressing. Some areas of the kingwood veneer are lifted in places. The interior is stained though contact with water and use.
