Corporal Frederick Trevitt from Lincoln joined the 1/4th Bn of the Lincolnshire Regiment on the 5th August 1914. He landed in France on the 1st March 1915. He was with the Battalion on the 1st July 1916 for the attack at Gommecourt and appears to have been posted home in February 1917 for service with war work. at the Ruston Proctor Co. Ltd Lincolnshire.
