A Champion's Bristol white biscuit porcelain portrait plaque of Sir George Colebrooke modelled in high relief pointing sinister, circa 1775-80, 7.5 x 4.5cm in glazed gilt frame. Notes: bears paper label for the Lord & Lady Fisher and Trapnell Collections. Sir George Colebrooke, 2nd Baronet [1729-1809] was a banker, politician and a merchant who served as a chairman of the East India Company between 1769 and 1772.
