Splendid rare die-stamped large rich gilt crowned star mounted with laurel wreath bearing PENINSULA scroll; mounted within the wreath, a silver star, its 14 of its 16 rays bearing honours. Centrally within circlet NOTTINGHAMSHIRE REGT, a rich blue enamel domed centre bearing seeded 45. Horizontal loops.
