An 18th century 30-hour striking longcase clock by Charles Alexander of Barnstable in a 19th century carved oak case, the hood with dentil cornice and plain pilasters, the hand painted dial depicting a bucolic scene, the trunk with ornate relief carving and reeded quarter columns, over a stepped plinth base with bracket feet. Dial measures 12”. Total height 6’8” (208cm). H208 W54 D30 (approx).
Condition report: No issues. Includes weight and brass bound pendulum.
