*A good DB 12 bore x 2½" top lever hammerless side lock ejector shotgun, by Hardy Bros, number 10885, 45½" overall including ¾" rubber heel, re-blued and re-nitro proved barrels 28", the quickly detachable locks, frame and trigger guard finely scroll and floral engraved overall, and with gold inlaid cocking indicators and automatic top safety catch, the well figured walnut stock having finely chequered fore end and wrist and vacant gold escutcheon. GWO & Clean condition, the engraving good, the locks and frame retaining much colour hardened and blued finish; in its leather covered crimson baize lined leather covered case, with trade label of Alexander Martin, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Stirling, and containing 2 piece cleaning rod and plated oil bottle.
