£90
A Victorian garden seat or opium stool, probably Copeland and Garrett 19th century, the octagonal body profusely decorated with a transfer printed chinoiserie design, picked out in polychrome enamels with figures in a garden, within anthemion borders and against a black ground, red painted 'Tile Pattn 107' to base, 47cm high (at fault)
The piece shows a firing crack to the handle cut-out, and extensive wear and fading to the black ground. The polychrome elements appear brighter and more saturated in comparison. One of the side panels shows a loss approximately 6mm x 6mm. The gilt details show rubbing throughout.
