A Chinese export Famille Rose porcelain lidded chocolate pot, 18th century, possibly Yongzheng period (1723-1735), of conical form with enamelled cockerel and foliage, 14.5 cm high
Condition: in overall good condition. Some pitting to the surface, small losses to the enamel and rubbing to the gilding. Minor chips to the end of the spout and to the top rim. The lid with larger chip to top, chip to finial and chip to inner rim. Firing crack to inside of lid.
