£5,000 - £7,000
1957 TALBOT SUNBEAM (90) 4 door saloon car, 2267ccs 4 cylinder petrol engine with manual transmission featuring overdrive.
Remarkably this very clean and well maintained example has been in the same family since new, originally bought by the current vendor's Father when he was working at the Margam Steel Works. Since then it has only been registered to his son and his wife. Retirement and Old Father time now decree it should be sold.
Latterly sold as a Sunbeam mkIII under the Rootes banner; the model had significant success in Rallying ,including winning the Monte Carlo rally and was also produced as a very pretty and well fancied drop head.
This example has always been well looked after and has had various works to keep it in good order over the years. It has matching engine and chassis numbers and a good bundle of photographs of restoration, history, MOTs and old Log Books are included. V5c registration document.
Note we are unable to offer any guarantee or warranty of any kind, verbally or written on what is obviously an old although well cared for vehicle.
Vendor states running and driveable and is happy to discuss the car with its buyer or propective buyer .
