Welsh Guards Officer's scarlet tunic. A good and scarce George V / George VI period example of scarlet melton cloth with gold bullion embroidered decoration to the cuffs and edging to the epaulettes. The latter with Lieutenant rank Garter Stars. The collar is with gold bullion lace and overlaid with silver bullion regimental leeks. Complete with King Crown gilt metal regimental buttons arranged in two groups of five. The interior with quilted lining. Scarlet a little dulled, but remains in good condition
