A worksplate HUNSLET ENGINE Co 2088 of 1940. From a 40/44HP standard gauge 0-4-0 diesel mechanical locomotive new to Thos. Firth & John Brown Ltd, Frodingham, Lincolnshire. To Fieldhouse Brothers Ltd, Sheffield circa May 1978. Later passed to the South Yorkshire Railway Preservation Society, Sheffield where it was scrapped in 1985. Cast brass, 11½"x8", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
