A GOOD QUALITY EARLY 20TH CENTURY SILVER HOT-WATER POT / BATCHELOR'S TEA POT, with ebony scroll shaped handle attached to scrolling joints, a hinged lid with gadrooned edge & topped with a flame shaped finial, lovely little detail to the bowl of the spout, raised on a circular graduated base. London hallmarks, with a date letter of ‘B’ for 1937. Maker’s mark present but rubbed; possibly C.E in a chamfered rectangle. Dimensions: 17 x 16 x 8cm (H x W x D). Total weight including handle: 353grams.
