Bahawalpur 1952-63 covers with Pakistan stamps
1952-63 registered covers (22) sent from Bahawalpur. almost all from Sadiq-Garh Palace, with Pakistan stamps. All bar three have the Amir's Private Secretary's handstamp and signature, one with the Household Secretary's; almost all are to the Amir's English solicitor at his home in Essex, or his London office. Most envelopes have On His Highness's Service imprints at the top, showing the changes (Bahawalpur Government, Bahawalpur State etc) over the years, an interesting group
