A box containing approx. 1000+ assorted colour and black and white slides. Most are Gepe glass mounts as well as some boxed older glass slides ( a couple have cracks-does not detract).There are several duplicate slides mixed in as well as black and white contact size prints and some negatives in roll film cartridges. Some of the slides are in the form of "instructional" slides, probably part of a slide show/talk. The rest are on site photos of track maintenance including: welding, track repairs, sleeper maintenance and site visits over the BR network. There are slide sets/talks on Hayes sleeper depot, The Develpoment of the railway track and Civil Engineering.The photos date from the 1960/70/80's and some are captioned. Personal photos are sold with copyright, sample illustrated.
