TURET (THURET) A PARIS: A late 17th Century silver pair cased pocket watch, the outer case with repoussé and pierced town scene and scrolled foliage, silvered Roman dial with single hand, verge escapement and chain fusee drive, alarm mechanism, backplate signed Thuret, Paris, ornate finely engraved and cut pillars and balance cock. Note to inside of case 'Turet A Paris. Alarm watch Isaac Thuret (Taret) maker Jacques died 1700 and Louis XIV. His son 1694-1712. 6.3cm diameter
