A GEORGE II SILVER TANKARD, Newcastle 1757, John Langlands II, tapered cylindrical with scrolled handle, 12cm high, approximate weight 9oz
No inscriptions.
Rim - Good overall shape and condition.
Body - Overall good condition.
Foot - Appears in good overall condition.
Handle - Hollow. Possible repair at lower contact point. There is a circular silver pad on the body of the tankered but there is no evidence of a joint in the interior of the body. Small dent to the bottom of the C scroll.
Interior - Many small sharp dents in the bottom, probably from keeping pens or pencils in it.
Overalll good condition.
