Approximately 36 black and white photographs, principally circa 1945-46, but a few late 1960s/early 1970s in commemoration of remembrance ceremonies, printed captions verso, largest sizes up to 25cm x 20.5cm • Subjects include: • British Delegation standing horrified before a pile of corpses at Buchenwald, April 1945 • Bodies of victims burnt at Gardelegen • Communal grave at Bergen-Belsen • Charred corpses of the Oradour-sur-Glane massacre • Dr. Klein, S.S. Doctor at Belsen, giving an interview before the graves of some of his victims • Nuremberg Trial - Post-execution photographs of Alfred Jodl, Ernst Kaltenbrunner and Julius Streicher • German townsfolk being forced to bury the bodies of victims at Soltau • The brother and sister and Irma Grese, waiting outside the court at Luneberg and others (approximately 36)
